Meet Dr. Vila

Carolina Vila is an educator with sixteen years experience teaching middle school and high school math courses. Dr. Vila has taught mathematics as both a core teacher (standard and honors levels) and an interventionist. Dr. Vila also has experience as an adjunct professor in the areas of mathematics and mathematics education. Moreover, she has extensive practice tutoring privately for standardized tests such as the SAT and MTEL, as well as for many K-12 math courses.

In 2019, Dr. Vila earned her Doctor of Education degree - more on her research here. Needless to say, education encompasses a large part of her life, and she loves it! Dr. Vila considers herself a connected educator, frequently communicating with others to share ideas and improve her craft. She enjoys traveling, jogging, and watching a good documentary in her spare time.
